Reduced tickets are for children aged 7 to 18; students; pensioners; holders of ISIC, ITIC, and IYTIC cards; and people with disabilities (holders of Czech ZTP cards). A family ticket is valid for a group of two adults and one to four children. 

Other discounts 
10 % discount for members of the Army of the Czech Republic.  
20 % discount for holders of valid IDS JMK transport tickets.  
50 % discount for holders of the MojaKarta card on certain dates.  
Entrance is free for children younger than 6; members of the Association of Museums and Galleries of the Czech Republic, the Council of Galleries of the Czech Republic, and the Museum Association of Slovakia; ICOM and ICOMOS card holders; and veterans. 

Visitor regulations

These regulations provide for the enjoyment and safety of all visitors and staff and the security of the museum and its collection. Following these rules and regulations is in your own interest. 

1. The exhibition spaces of Mikulov Castle are open for the public as follows (unless indicated otherwise):  
   April, October, November: Friday–Sunday, 9:00-16:00  
   May, June, September: Tuesday–Sunday, 9:00–17:00   
   July and August: Tuesday–Sunday, 9:00–18:00  
2. On days when Mikulov Castle is open to visitors, the cash desk opens at 9:00 and closes 30 minutes before the museum closes.
3.  Tour times and sizes are determined by cash desk management. 
4. The minimum number of participants in all guided tours is five, including guests who are entitled to free entrance to the museum. If there are fewer than five visitors, they must wait for the next scheduled tour departure, which will take place regardless of how many participants there are. If visitors do not want to wait for the next scheduled tour, they can purchase five tickets for the tour. 
5. Groups and individuals may book tours in advance. Reservations for a specific date, time, and number of visitors must be made in advance via telephone or email. Groups with reservations must report to the Mikulov Castle cash desk at least 30 minutes before the start of the tour; otherwise, the reserved tour will be cancelled. 
6. Entrance to the museum circuits and seasonal exhibitions must be paid beforehand. All visitors are required to purchase an entrance ticket, with the exception of visitors entitled to free entrance. Upon paying the entrance fee, the visitor will receive an entrance ticket (a group leader will receive a group ticket). 
7. Tickets for guided tours are clearly marked with the tour time for which the ticket is valid. Visitors must take part in tours at the time indicated on their tickets; otherwise, the tickets will no longer be valid. 
8. Purchased tickets cannot be returned. 
9. Holders of the following documents are entitled to a discount on the entrance fee: AMG, RMG, ICOM, ICOMOS, ZTP, ZTP/P, a student ID, ISIC, ITIC, Family Pass (Rodinný pas), Senior Pass (Senior pas), Sphere card, a complimentary ticket, or a valid ticket for the IDS JMK public transport system. 
10. Visitors are obliged to present their ticket upon entering the exhibition space, to keep it at all times in the museum, and to present it upon request. 
11. Children under the age of 15 will only be admitted to the museum when accompanied by an adult, who is responsible for the child’s behaviour and for following the museum regulations. 
12. Visitors must follow the instructions of employees of Mikulov Castle. If a visitor does not heed the instructions or orders of Mikulov Castle employees, then, in the interest of visitor safety and the security of the building, the collection, and the exhibited objects, the visitor will be ejected from the museum with no right of refund. The visitor may also be held legally responsible for breaking any laws. 
13. People suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs are prohibited from entering expositions and exhibitions at Mikulov Castle. 
14. Visitors wearing heavily soiled, inadequate, or otherwise inappropriate clothing are not allowed to enter the exhibition spaces at Mikulov Castle. 
15. Disabled guests using a wheelchair or a cane may visit the museum, although not all spaces may be accessible. 
16. Guests may not bring large pieces of luggage, bags, or animals, unless they are in carriers, into the museum’s exhibition spaces. 
17. It is forbidden to damage or otherwise endanger the building, the collection, the gardens, or any other property on the Mikulov Castle grounds. It is expressly forbidden a) to touch the walls, exhibited objects, and display cases and to write or draw on the walls; b) to eat inside the buildings and enter with ice cream, food, or open drinks; and c) to enter exhibition spaces with a baby pram. Prams must be left at the Mikulov Castle cash desk. 
18. Inside the building or in other marked locations it is prohibited to take photographs, film, or make any other type of recording using a flash, tripod, selfie stick, or any other lighting equipment or accessories. 
19. It is prohibited to use any photographs, videos, or other recordings taken at Mikulov Castle for commercial purposes without the written consent of Mikulov Castle management, or the Regional Museum in Mikulov management. 
20. If you wish to leave the museum and re-enter later, you must inform the cash desk; otherwise, once you leave the exhibition spaces of Mikulov Castle, your ticket is no longer valid. 
21. If a visitor causes damages by violating these rules and regulations, the museum will seek compensation through legal means. 
22. Visitors may make wishes, compliments, complaints, and suggestions in written form directly at Mikulov Castle in the visitor book, which is available at the cash desk and at the archaeological and winemaking exhibitions.  Visitors may also write to or call the museum management:

23. The provisions of these visitor regulations do not affect the visitor’s obligation to comply with the generally binding laws of the Czech Republic.
